Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. After checking in and resting during the heat of the day, head out for your first game drive around 4:00 PM. Amboseli is famous for its enormous elephant herds against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and depart for Tsavo West National Park (approximately 3-4 hours drive).

Arrive at your lodge in Tsavo West in time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Mzima Springs, a natural oasis where you can see hippos and crocodiles from an underwater observatory. The park is famous for its “red elephants”—elephants that roll in the park’s red dust, giving them a distinctive reddish hue. You’ll also spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and cheetahs.
