Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Canoe Ride

After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed for briefing by experienced guides and trackers on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety guidelines. You will then begin your trek into Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, starting from the last known location of the gorilla family. Trekking duration may range from 1 to 6 hours depending on the group’s movement and altitude, which can exceed 7,500 feet. The terrain is often steep, uneven, and muddy, requiring a reasonable level of physical fitness. Despite the challenging hike, the dense rainforest, rich biodiversity, and breathtaking scenery make the experience truly rewarding. Visitors are advised to carry sufficient drinking water, waterproof clothing, and protective gear for cameras due to unpredictable tropical rainfall.
