After an early breakfast at the camp, you will head out for a comprehensive, full-day exploration of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Carrying packed lunch boxes allows for maximum time in the wild, reaching the further corners of the park where wildlife is most abundant.
Your guide will navigate the savannah in search of the "Big Five" and the park’s legendary predators - lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards.
Depending on the season, you will visit the Mara River, the site of the dramatic Great Migration river crossings where thousands of wildebeest and zebras brave crocodile-infested waters. Even outside of migration months, the river is a hub for hippos and massive Nile crocodiles.
You will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot under a lone acacia tree, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes of the African plains. This scenic 5-to-6-hour drive transitions from the vast open savannahs to the lush, wooded landscapes surrounding Lake Nakuru. You will arrive at Nakuru town in time for lunch and check-in at your hotel.
In the afternoon, enter Lake Nakuru National Park for a thrilling game drive. This park is a world-renowned sanctuary for endangered species; it is arguably the best place in Kenya to see both Black and White Rhinos in the wild. As you explore the acacia woodlands and the alkaline lakeshore, look out for the rare Rothschild’s giraffe, buffalo herds, and waterbucks.
While lake levels fluctuate, you may also witness the spectacular sight of pink flamingos and pelicans gathered at the water's edge.

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, we depart for a scenic two-hour drive to Lake Naivasha, the highest and most beautiful of the Great Rift Valley lakes.
Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation, followed by a delicious lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to a relaxing boat safari on the fresh waters of Lake Naivasha, witnessing massive hippos and giant saltwater crocodiles!
As you cruise along the shoreline, you will get up close to massive pods of wallowing hippos and observe an incredible array of birdlife, including the majestic African Fish Eagle. The lake's serene atmosphere and the backdrop of the volcanic Mount Longonot provide the perfect setting for photography.

Along the way, you will witness the changing landscapes of Kenya, from the lush highlands to the semi-arid plains of Maasai land. You will arrive at your tented safari camp, in time for a warm lunch and a brief rest.
In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli. This park is world-famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants.

Watch the massive elephant herds trek toward the swamps for their morning drink before we head back to the camp for a full breakfast. After checking out, we begin the journey back to Nairobi, traveling through the scenic Maasai country and past the bustling towns of Emali and Sultan Hamud. We will stop for a relaxed lunch along the way (own expense). Upon arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon, your guide will drop you off at your preferred hotel, residence, or directly at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your onward flight. You leave with incredible memories, thousands of photos, and a deep appreciation for Kenya’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.
