Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an introductory Addis Ababa city tour. Visit the renowned National Museum of Ethiopia, one of the country’s most important museums and home to the world-famous 3.2-million-year-old fossil remains of Lucy. Continue with a cultural introduction to Ethiopia through a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony, where you will discover the deep-rooted importance of coffee in Ethiopian daily life and hospitality.

After breakfast, take a domestic flight to Bahir Dar, a charming lakeside city situated on the southern shore of Lake Tana, Ethiopia’s largest lake and the source of the Blue Nile.
In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat trip on Lake Tana to visit some of the ancient island monasteries, many of which are decorated with beautiful murals, religious paintings, and centuries-old treasures of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Begin the day with a memorable boat trip on Lake Chamo, one of the best wildlife-viewing lakes in southern Ethiopia.
Cruise across the lake to observe hippos, large Nile crocodiles, and abundant birdlife, making this one of the most enjoyable nature experiences of the tour. The lake and surrounding environment offer excellent opportunities for photography and birdwatching.
Later, transfer for your return flight to Addis Ababa. Depending on your international departure time, enjoy some final sightseeing, shopping, or a farewell dinner before your transfer to Bole International Airport for your onward journey.
