Nairobi to Amboseli National park

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Athi Plains and Masai countryside. You arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch at your mid-range lodge or tented camp, followed by some relaxation. In the afternoon, you head out for your first game drive across the park’s vast open landscapes, where you are likely to encounter elephants, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly predators such as lions and cheetahs. Enjoy clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro if weather permits before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Amboseli full day

After breakfast, you depart for a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park with packed lunch boxes. This extended safari allows you to explore different areas of the park, including the swamp regions fed by underground rivers from Mount Kilimanjaro, which attract a high concentration of wildlife. You will have excellent opportunity to observe large elephant herds up close, along with buffalo, hippos, and a variety of bird species. Lunch is enjoyed in the wild at a scenic picnic site, followed by continued game viewing until late afternoon. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
