After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel, and your safari adventure will begin. You will depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of approximately three hours. The park derives its name from the Tarangire River, which flows through it and serves as the only reliable water source for wildlife during the dry season.

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the rare sight of tree-climbing African pythons. Covering approximately 2,850 square kilometers, the park offers diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife. You will enjoy a full day of game viewing and later savor a hot lunch served in the park while taking in scenic views of the river.

After an exciting day on safari, you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before we set off for the Northern Serengeti, near the Mara River, where the Great Migration is taking place. Our experienced safari guide will take you to the best vantage points to witness this breathtaking natural spectacle.

The Great Migration is the largest land animal movement on Earth, featuring massive herds of wildebeest, zebras, and other wildlife as they cross the Mara River into Kenya’s Maasai Mara. The river, teeming with crocodiles, adds to the drama of this awe-inspiring journey. The best time to witness the migration in this region is from July to early October each year.

An early start offers the best chance to see dramatic river crossings along the Mara River, the natural boundary between Serengeti in Tanzania and the Maasai Mara in Kenya. After an exciting morning, return to camp for a bush breakfast, followed by time to relax at midday.

Alternatively, you may choose to embark on a pre-booked early morning balloon safari. This unique experience ends with a delightful champagne breakfast set in the heart of the open grasslands.

This morning, you will enjoy an early game drive in the Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast plains and rich wildlife. The game drive continues through the late morning, offering more chances to spot animals in their natural habitat.

In the early afternoon, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading towards the scenic highlands. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site in the Ngorongoro Highlands, surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

After lunch, you will continue with a short game drive en route to your lodge. You will then proceed to Ngorongoro Safari Lodge for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

The following morning, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.

Rise and shine! After breakfast at daybreak, you drive down into the crater. The massive collapsed volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) to spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs, and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and head to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
