Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
This day is dedicated entirely to game drives in the Serengeti, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife havens. The park is home to a rich variety of animals, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is especially famous for the great migration of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The timing and path of their migration vary with the rainfall—between November and December, the herds move from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains, returning north during the long rains from April to June.
In addition to the migratory herds, you may spot resident predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, witnessing the raw beauty of the circle of life in action. After an exhilarating day in the wild, you will return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay under the endless Serengeti sky.

With an estimated 25,000 animals, the crater offers some of the best game viewing in Tanzania.
You will arrive at the crater rim before lunch and then descend into its heart, where wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species abound. With some luck, you may even spot the endangered black rhino among the grasses.
