Airport/Hotel pickup in Kigali, Transfer to Uganda

We assign a professional driver-guide to meet you at the airport or at your hotel in Kigali for a warm welcome and briefing before departure. You'll then set off on a scenic drive north through rolling hills and vibrant countryside, with a comfortable 4–5 hour transfer via the Cyanika border.

After crossing into Uganda, continue to Kisoro where you will enjoy a relaxed lunch with views of the surrounding highlands. Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Upon arrival at your lodge, take time to unwind, soak in the tranquil forest atmosphere, and settle in. The rest of the evening is at leisure, with dinner and quiet relaxation as you prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Gorilla Trekking Experience in Uganda

After an early breakfast, you proceed to the briefing point at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where park rangers provide a detailed orientation on trekking guidelines and gorilla behavior. You then enter the dense, mist-covered rainforest, guided by experienced rangers as you track one of the habituated gorilla families. The trek takes 2-6 hours, but the reward is a profound, silent encounter with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.

After spending a magical hour observing the gorillas, you return to the starting point and head back to your lodge. The afternoon is yours to relax, enjoy the serene forest surroundings, and reflect on the experience. Return to Kigali

After a relaxed breakfast at your lodge in Bwindi, you'll begin your return journey to Kigali, enjoying a scenic drive through the rolling highlands and crossing via the Cyanika border.

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will enjoy lunch in the city, followed by a reflective visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a powerful site that offers deep insight into Rwanda’s history and resilience.

After the visit, you will be transferred to the airport/hotel for your departure, marking the end of a meaningful and unforgettable journey.
