Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, followed by a scenic drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for stunning panoramic views and photos.

Proceed to Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at your midrange camp or lodge. After some time to relax, head out for your first afternoon game drive across the reserve’s vast plains. You may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes, and if lucky, predators such as lions, cheetahs, or leopards.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart with packed lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara, giving you more time to explore one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves. You will drive through different sections of the park in search of the Big Five and many other animals including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and a wide variety of birdlife.

The Masai Mara is famous for its endless plains, dramatic wildlife sightings, and exceptional predator activity, making every game drive unique and exciting. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing with more game viewing until later in the afternoon.

Return to your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, check out and depart Masai Mara with a final en-route wildlife viewing experience as you leave the reserve. You will then drive to Lake Naivasha, one of Kenya’s most beautiful freshwater lakes, arriving in time for lunch and check-in at your lodge.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you may spot hippos and a variety of birdlife while taking in the peaceful scenery. There is also an optional visit to Crescent Island at an extra cost, where you can enjoy a guided walking safari among zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and other herbivores.

Return to your lodge later in the day for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha To Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, check out and depart for Amboseli National Park, a scenic journey that takes you across changing landscapes toward one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations. You will arrive in time for lunch and check-in at your midrange lodge or camp.

Later in the afternoon, head out for an evening game drive in Amboseli, a park famous for its large elephant herds, open plains, seasonal swamps, and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days. As you explore the park, you may spot elephants, buffalo, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, antelopes, and a variety of birdlife.

Amboseli to Nairobi

Begin your final day with an early-morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, the best time to catch wildlife at its most active and enjoy the park’s beautiful early-morning atmosphere. If the weather is clear, you may also get one last chance to admire the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains.

After the game drive, return to your lodge or camp for breakfast, then check out and depart for Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic drive back, arriving in Nairobi later in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or residence, or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
