1-Day Mt Longonot Hike & Lake Naivasha Boat Safari Trip

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Depart Nairobi early morning and drive along the Great Rift Valley escarpment with a brief stop at a viewpoint for photos. Proceed to Mount Longonot National Park and begin your guided hike up the dormant volcano. The ascent takes approximately 1.5–2 hours, rewarding you with panoramic views of the crater and surrounding Rift Valley landscape. For the more adventurous, continue along the crater rim for a full circuit experience. Descend and transfer to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at a lakeside restaurant. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided boat ride across the calm waters, spotting hippos, fish eagles, and diverse birdlife. Optionally, pass by Crescent Island for views of grazing wildlife along the shores. Later, depart Naivasha and return to Nairobi, arriving in the early evening after a fulfilling day of hiking and wildlife exploration.
