Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a brief city orientation in Kigali.

You will then embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Musanze, near Volcanoes National Park.

Optional Experience: Along the way or upon arrival, you can visit the beautiful Twin Lakes (Burera and Ruhondo), offering stunning views of the Virunga volcanoes and peaceful surroundings.

Golden Monkey Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your golden monkey trekking adventure in the bamboo forests.

This is a relatively easy and enjoyable trek, perfect for photography and close-up encounters with these lively primates.

In the afternoon, you may optionally visit the Gorilla Guardians Village for a cultural immersion experience.

Mount Bisoke Hike (Crater Lake Experience)

After an early breakfast, transfer for a briefing before starting your hike to Mount Bisoke (3,711m).

This rewarding hike (approx. 6–8 hours round trip) leads you to a spectacular crater lake at the summit. Along the trail, enjoy lush vegetation, birdlife, and scenic views.

After descending, return to your lodge for relaxation.

Return to Kigali – Optional City Tour & Genocide Memorial Visit

After breakfast, you will transfer back to Kigali.

Optional Experience: Upon arrival, enjoy a half-day Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, one of the most important historical and cultural sites in Rwanda. You may also explore local markets or craft centers.

Afterward, you will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel.
