Day 2

Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Planet Lodge, we drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The landscape opens into beautiful Savannah with baobab trees and Maasai villages along the way.

Inside the park, we explore in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more, especially around the Tarangire River where wildlife gathers. After the game drive, we enjoy lunch in the park surrounded by nature. Later, we continue to the lodge for dinner and relaxation, ending the day in comfort.

Day 3

Lake Natron

Lake Natron

After breakfast at your lodge in Baobab Valley, we begin with a short morning game drive, giving you a chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, giraffes, and other animals moving through the Savannah.

After this exciting start, we continue our journey toward Lake Natron. As we arrive, the scenery transforms dramatically the shallow, alkaline waters often glow pink with thousands of flamingos, creating one of the most unique landscapes in Tanzania. Towering nearby is Ol Doinyo Lengai, a sacred and active volcanic mountain that adds to the area’s striking beauty.

Once here, you’ll have time to explore the lake shore, take guided walks, or visit nearby waterfalls, all while enjoying the peaceful, remote atmosphere.

Later, we drive to your lodge where you can relax, take in the stunning Rift Valley views, enjoy dinner, and unwind for the night.

Day 4

At 07:00 AM, begin your scenic drive from Twiga Lodge to the breathtaking Lake Natron Waterfalls, a hidden gem nestled within the Great Rift Valley.

Upon arrival, your adventure begins with a guided walk through rugged terrain and narrow gorges leading to the cascading waterfalls. Along the way, enjoy views of dramatic landscapes and, if lucky, spot local wildlife and bird life. The cool, refreshing pools at the base of the falls offer a perfect place to relax after the hike, surrounded by stunning natural beauty.

By late afternoon, proceed to your lodge near Lake Natron, where you will be warmly welcomed. After settling in, enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind for the night in this serene and remote setting.

Day 5-7

At 7:30 AM, after breakfast, you will drive towards Serengeti National Park.

Serengeti offers one of the most amazing game-viewing safaris in Africa. It is home to great herds of buffalos, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, eland, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles. Lions, leopards, and other wildlife are often seen. You will have a game drive, break for a picnic lunch, and then continue with the game drive. Dinner and overnight will be at your Tented Camp.

Get up early for breakfast to make the most out of your day in the Ngorongoro Crater.

You'll depart after breakfast (6:30 am) from the lodge for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive takes about 3 hours to reach the Naabi gate. You'll embark on a full-day crater tour game drive with a picnic lunch.

About the Ngorongoro Crater: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a World Heritage Site under natural and cultural criteria. Once you descend into the crater, you will have a great chance to spot the Big Five, including prides of lions, herds of buffalos, elephants, leopards, and black rhinos. Bird species like flamingos live in the crater lakes. You'll experience the amazing natural environment inside the crater.
