Zanzibar-Arusha Airport- Tarangire National Park

You will use your own transport to arrive at Zanzibar Airport for your flight at 7:45 AM to Arusha (arrive 9 AM). Your Wild Pride Safaris expert guide welcomes you for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park for a mid morning to late afternoon game drive with packed Lunch.

The Park is renowned for its vast open plains, dramatic landscapes, and iconic baobab trees that dot the scenery. Located about 120 km southwest of Arusha. Tarangire National Park is famous for its large elephant populations, impressive herds of buffalo, and resident prides of lions. Wildlife sightings may include zebras, wildebeest, elephants, Maasai giraffes, fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok).

Descend 600m (2,000 ft) into this 304 km² ancient caldera, once a volcano taller than Kilimanjaro home to Tanzania's best game viewing.

Spot the Big Five (elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo, leopard), plus wildebeest, hippos, gazelles, and 500+ bird species amid forests, lakes (flamingos), and savannas. After lunch, head to Kankari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Karatu- Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast collect picnic lunch and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive.
This is one of the most diverse of Tanzania’s national parks, a tiny (325km2) combination of Rift valley lake, dense woodlands and steep mountainside. Manyara is a birding paradise (more than 380 species), especially for waterfowl and migrants and the forests are one of the best places around to see leopards. Lions hunt on the grassy shores of the lake. Most visitors tailor a visit to Manyara to fit in with a trip to one of the Big Three parks (Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro).
