A tour driver-guide from Kuzuri Escapades will come to pick you up from Arusha in the morning, immediately after your breakfast. Then, you will drive to Tarangire National Park, located in the Manyara region, which is the 6th largest park in Tanzania. You will have to carry a packed lunch with you so that when you get to the park. You will go straight for a game drive. After the game drive, you will then go to the lodge where you will be spending the night and also have your dinner.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti National Park, which is located in the southern and central part of the “Seronera Valley.” The Masai people, who are the indigenous people of the region, call the Serengeti the land of endless plains, thus the name Serengeti National Park. This is one of the best parks to visit, blessed with wonderful Savannah grassland and acacia trees, and home to many wildlife species. In the northern part is the Masai Mara River, and the Grumenti River is in the western corridor, covered more with forests and dense bushes. You will enjoy a game drive when you get to the park picnic.

Day 3
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Immediately after your breakfast at the lodge, you will go for the morning game drive. Serengeti is one of the parks in the world with the highest species of wildlife. You can expect to see lots of elephants, wildebeests, lions, leopards/ cheetahs, buffaloes, and so many more that you may not be able to see in many other places. Besides the wildlife, there are also so many bird species, plants, and other attractions that you will be interested in watching as you drive through the park. You depart in the afternoon for Ngorongoro Crater with a game drive. Alternatively, you can visit the Olduvai Gorge en route.

Day 4
Ngorongoro to Arusha National Park

After breakfast at the lodge, you will then go visit the crater lakes floor, and for those who love having the crater tours, then it will be a very interesting adventure for you, as you will have lunch from there, it will be like some sort of picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will then drive to Arusha, where you will arrive early evening, and drive to the airport so that you can catch your flight to Nairobi. Your dinner and overnight stay on this day will be in Nairobi.

After breakfast, you will drive to Hell’s Gate National Park, which is in the northwestern direction of Nairobi with mainly the Savannah ecosystem and a home to a variety of wildlife like the African buffaloes, zebras, elands, hartebeests, Thomson’s gazelles, and baboons, are also common as well as so many bird species like vultures, Verreaux’s Eagles, augur buzzards, and swifts. You will enjoy your morning bird walk to view birds on the shores of Lake Naivasha. This visit to Hell’s Gate National Park, which is a breeding ground for vultures in Kenya, will be fruitful. Your dinner & overnight stay will be served at a luxury accommodation.

Day 6
Drive to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will have your breakfast, and then your driver-guide will transfer you to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is also called “The Pink Heart Of Kenya” because of the many Flamingos that are found around the lake, covering the lake, making it shine pink. You will have your lunch break. After lunch, you will go bird watching in the park and at the lake. The commonest bird that you will see is the flamingos, but there will be others and more birds; there will be animals like hippos, rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and many more to make your afternoon very interesting. In the evening, you will go to your lofreshen upshen-up, have your dinner, and sleep.

On this day, you will be heading to Kenya’s most popular park, which is the Masai Mara National Reserve, so immediately after breakfast, you will drive across the floor of the Great Rift Valley, the longest Rift in the crust of the Earth, to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, which is covered with unspoiled Savannah. Just like Serengeti in Tanzania, this park is located in the land of the Masai people, thus the name, and it is the northern portion of the Great Plains ecosystem in neighboring Tanzania called Serengeti. It is a home to the Big Five: lion, buffalo, rhino, leopard, and elephant, as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe, and vast herds of plain antelope and numerous other wildlife.

After breakfast, you will go for a short game drive. Then, you drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at Toona Tree Restaurant, where you can enjoy some good Italian food. You check into a day room at the Nairobi hotel. Depending on the time you will be leaving, you will have dinner too before you head to the airport to fly out to Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport. You will meet your driver-guide, who will take you to the hotel where you will spend your night in Entebbe at a hotel of your budget.

Day 9
To Ngamba Island | Entebbe

You will be served breakfast, and after that, your guide/driver will drive you to the pier from where you will get to the boat for a ride to Ngamba Island, where the Chimpanzee Sanctuary is located, which makes Chimpanzee tracking the biggest tourism activity on the island. You will arrive in time to feed the chimps. You will stand at the platform to watch, take photographs, and then explore the island, finding the monitor lizards, otters, and a variety of bird species. You will have your lunch. Then, you will return to the mainland in the afternoon. You visit UWEC (formerly the Zoo) to see animals like the rhino, the shoebill stork bird, the peacock, the python, and other animals, as well as reptiles and birds that you might not see when you visit other game parks and reserves in the country.

Immediately after breakfast, you will begin your journey to Fort Portal in the western part of the country, driving through Mubende and making a stopover in Mubende for lunch. You will spot several tea plantations and the breathtaking scenery
through which the route travels. On arrival at Fort Portal, you will take an optional visit to the Toro kingdom coronation sit. Later, you head to your lodge.

Day 11

After an early breakfast, you will go for a briefing about the chimpanzee trekking exercise. You will search for primates like the colobus monkeys, families of chimps, a diversity of birds, and an abundance of butterflies, together with your ranger, whom you will be given after the briefing. This trek usually takes between 2 and 4 hours. So you will be out of the jungle by lunchtime to have your lunch. After lunch, you will drive towards Kasese. You will be in Queen Elizabeth by afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel and expect to see hippos that huff and spray only feet away from the boat, buffaloes, and elephants lingering in the shallows, a diversity of bird species. Later, you will head to the lodge, check in, and wait for your dinner.

Day 12

You will wake up very early in the morning and go for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi miles just before some of the animals go back into hiding. You will search for the lions, hyenas, leopards, waterbucks, and many antelopes, Uganda kobs, there will be buffaloes, elephants, and hippos will be spotted when you get closer to the water body. You will also see numerous bird species like the black-chested eagle, the swallow-tailed bee-eaters, pink-backed pelicans, great and long-tailed cormorants, African jacana, malachite, and a great deal more kingfishers. After the game drive, you will start on your journey to Rwanda. You have a lunch break somewhere along the way, and continue to PNV in Ruhengeri to Kinigi. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget accommodation.

Day 13

Gorilla Tracking – Volcanoes National Park – Kigali
After breakfast, your guide will take you for a briefing by the park guides, and later go for mountain gorilla tracking. Your ranger will lead you through the thick tropical rainforest as you search for a family of habituated mountain gorillas. You will need to carry packed food as the exercise may take longer than you can expect, which means you will not have time to return to the lodge for lunch. When you meet the gorillas, you will be given at least one hour to enjoy time with them while you are taking photographs but must not use a flash while you are taking photographs. After the gorilla tracking activity, you will then drive to Kigali and spend the night in any hotel in Kigali, that is where you will have your dinner too, or if you are flying out from Uganda. Then, you will cross the border and spend the night in Kabale, and then the next day, drive to Kampala- Entebbe.

This is the last day of your tri. If you are to fly from Rwanda, then the guide will take you to the airport 2 hours before your departure time. If you are flying out from Uganda, then you will drive to Kampala, and then to Entebbe to catch your flight.
