2-Day Overnight Safari at Dinokeng Game Reserve

Arrival & Sunset Safari

Enjoy pickup from your hotel in Johannesburg at 13:00 and travel to Dinokeng Game Reserve. Upon arrival, meet your guide for a safety briefing before heading out on a 2.5–3 hour sunset game drive with a qualified ranger. Learn about the African wilderness while spotting wildlife in Big 5 territory.
After the drive, transfer to Sunset Bush Camp and settle into your mid-range safari tent. Each spacious tent (larger than 3x3m) is designed for comfort and includes proper beds, a private veranda, and an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. The camp offers an authentic bush experience without compromising on convenience.
Your stay is fully serviced, with friendly staff taking care of all camp chores, allowing you to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In the evening, gather around the fire and enjoy a traditional South African braai dinner with drinks, soaking in the atmosphere of the African bush.

Bush Walk & Departure

Start the morning with coffee and rusks before heading out on a 2.5–3 hour guided bush walk with an armed trails guide. Discover the finer details of the bush and enjoy close-to-nature encounters. Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by check-out at 11:00. You will then be transferred back to Johannesburg or the airport. Optional afternoon game drive available at extra cost.
