Nairobi to Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Nairobi and begin your journey to the Masai Mara, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop for breathtaking views and photos. Arrive at your tented camp in time for lunch and check-in.

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This is your introduction to Kenya’s incredible wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, and many other species in their natural habitat.

Full game drive in Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve. This iconic safari destination is famed for its sweeping landscapes, abundant wildlife including the Big Five, and rich Maasai culture. Between July and October, witness the unforgettable Great Migration, as millions of wildebeest and zebras make their way across the plains, closely followed by predators. Your guide will ensure excellent photographic opportunities. In the evening, return for dinner and overnight at enkorok mara camp.

Please note: On this day, you may opt to begin with an early morning hot air balloon safari which is optional (at an extra cost). After the balloon experience, you will rejoin your group for the game drive.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, enjoy an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village to learn about Maasai culture, traditions, and way of life, including their homesteads, dances, and community practices. This cultural experience offers a deeper understanding of Kenya’s rich heritage.

After the visit, depart the Masai Mara and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley en route to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy photo stops along the way and arrive at your hotel in the evening for check-in and relaxation.

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Proceed for an early morning game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its abundant birdlife, including flamingos, white pelicans, ibises, egrets, and marabou storks, as well as wildlife such as both white and black rhinos and the rare Rothschild's giraffes.
Enjoy the breathtaking views of the park from Baboon Cliff, a perfect scenic vantage point. Around 11:00 am, depart for Naivasha, arriving in time for a late lunch. This afternoon, you may choose to enjoy an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha (approximately $20 per person), or take an optional guided walk at Crescent Island, with an entry fee of around $33 per person. Please inform your guide in advance if you wish to participate.

Alternatively, you may simply relax at your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha to Amboseli

After an early breakfast, proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park for a unique adventure where you can explore on foot or by bicycle. You may choose to rent a bike (from $20) and ride through the open plains while spotting zebras, giraffes, gazelles, elands, and hartebeests, or enjoy a guided game drive in the safari vehicle. The park also offers amazing birdlife, including vultures and eagles. Later, continue with lunch en route and drive to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner and stay overnight.
