Gaysay Valley & Sanetti Plateau

After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive in Gaysay Valley, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Bale Mountains. The valley is rich in grazing animals and endemic species.

Later, continue your journey to the spectacular Sanetti Plateau, one of the highest plateaus in Africa. The landscape changes dramatically into alpine scenery with wide open plains and rocky terrain.

Spend time exploring different areas of the plateau in search of rare wildlife.

Harenna Forest Exploration

After breakfast, descend into the lush and mysterious Harenna Forest, located on the southern slopes of Bale Mountains. This forest is one of the largest and most important natural forests in Ethiopia.

Enjoy a guided nature walk through dense vegetation, bamboo forests, and waterfalls. The ecosystem here is completely different from the highlands, offering a rich biodiversity experience.
