After breakfast, depart for Kibale National Park, a journey that showcases Uganda’s changing landscapes—from savannah plains to rolling hills and lush tea plantations. The drive is scenic and culturally rich, offering glimpses into rural life and local farming practices.

Arrive in Kibale in the afternoon and check into your lodge. Later, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This community-run project is a haven for birdlife and primates, including colobus monkeys and baboons.

Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Start your morning with a game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This area is famous for its lion populations, as well as elephants, buffaloes, and Uganda kobs. The open savannah makes wildlife spotting relatively easy and rewarding.

After lunch, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. This natural waterway connects Lake Edward and Lake George and is known for having one of the highest concentrations of hippos in Africa.

As you cruise along, you’ll see elephants and buffaloes gathering at the water’s edge, alongside crocodiles and a wide variety of bird species. The close proximity to wildlife makes this one of the most memorable boat experiences in Uganda.

After the trek, transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, located in the Virunga Mountains.
