As you step out into the warm, tropical air, look for the friendly smiles of the Gorilla Sights Team. This scenic drive takes you through rolling tea plantations and vibrant green hills of tea, leading to Fort Portal, the tourism capital of the Pearl of Africa. Named for its stunning cleanliness and colonial charm, Fort Portal sits in the shadow of the Rwenzori Mountains, offering cool breezes and a welcoming atmosphere. Your day begins with an early morning briefing at the Kanyanchu Tourism Centre, where you will join expert rangers for an immersive journey into the heart of Kibale National Park. As you step under the ancient forest canopy, listen for the distant, echoing hoots and pant-hoots of the chimpanzee families. These high energy primates are our closest living relatives, and finding them is a thrill like no other. Once spotted, you will spend an unforgettable hour observing their complex social lives watching them groom, play, and swing through the branches above. After this wild encounter, In afternoon transfer to queen Elizabeth national Park. We transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (about 3 hours) past volcanic crater lakes, and on a clear day, you can see the ‘Mountains of the Moon’, the Rwenzori Mountains. Possible afternoon game drive depending on the time we have arrive in the area. After the game drive we continue to our lodge located on the cliff of rift valley with golden views.
