Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you'll meet your safari guide and drive 2.5 hours through the Great Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Manyara National Park. After lunch at your lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive focusing on the park's famous tree-climbing lions, which often rest in acacia branches. After breakfast, drive one hour to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters onto the crater floor—a 260-square-kilometer natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. Today offers a second full day inside the crater, Allowing you to explore areas missed yesterday. This extra day dramatically increases your chances of witnessing predator hunts, as you can linger at sightings without rushing. A picnic lunch deep inside the crater means more wildlife hours. Late afternoon, ascend the crater rim for breathtaking sunset views before returning to your lodge.

After breakfast, drive four hours from Ngorongoro to the Serengeti, crossing the Ngorongoro highlands and entering through the Naabi Hill gate. The landscape transforms dramatically into rolling grasslands stretching to the horizon. Your afternoon game drive targets the southern Serengeti plains (December–March) for wildebeest calving season or the central Seronera area (year-round) known for resident lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Devote an entire day to tracking the Great Migration. Depending on the season, you'll position in the southern plains (calving, Jan–Feb), the western corridor (river crossings, June–July), or the northern Serengeti (mara crossings, Aug–Oct). Your guide uses radio communication with other vehicles to locate massive herds. Witness dramatic predator-prey interactions: lions stalking wildebeest, cheetahs sprinting, and hyenas scavenging. Pack a picnic lunch to maximize wildlife viewing without returning to the lodge. By dusk, you'll understand why the Serengeti means "endless plain" in Masai. The morning game drive focuses on the ancient granite kopjes scattered across the plains, prime leopard and lion territory.
These outcrops offer shade and vantage points for predators, and you may spot hyraxes, lizards, and rare eagles. After lunch, drive toward the Grumeti river in the western Serengeti corridor, famous for its enormous Nile crocodiles, some exceeding 5 meters.
Head out to the river to the river to experience the battles of crocodiles and the wild beasts, these are very active in June and July though the remains a crucial point for animals through out the year.

Final Game Drive & Return to Arusha
Final Game Drive & Return to Arusha
Enjoy one last morning game drive at sunrise—the best time for predator activity and soft photographic light. After breakfast, begin the six-hour drive back to Arusha, with a stop at the Olduvai Gorge museum (optional), where the Leakey family discovered early human fossils dating back 1.8 million years. Upon arrival in Arusha, enjoy a farewell lunch before transferring to the airport for your departure.
