Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

You will be picked at 8:30am from your accommodation in Arusha by our guide and depart to Tarangire National Park, with picnic lunch. Tanzania’s sixth largest national park (2850sqkm) which is known for its majestic ancient Baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.

The Tarangire River is the center piece of this park which is famous for the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see the lions, cheetah, lesser kudu, giraffe, and zebra. Post the game drive you will head for a overnight stay at Siafu Serenity Lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

Day 3

Western Serengeti

Western Serengeti

After breakfast, continue your safari adventure toward the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park, one of the park’s most remote and scenic regions. This area is famous for its vast plains, river systems, and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. As you travel through the western plains, enjoy exciting game drives while searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeests.

The Western Serengeti is also well known for the Grumeti River, where dramatic river crossings may occur during the Great Migration season. Massive crocodiles can often be seen waiting near the riverbanks while thousands of wildebeests and zebras attempt to cross the waters. The area’s diverse habitats attract many predators, making wildlife sightings especially rewarding.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your exploration of the region. Later in the afternoon, proceed to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Western Serengeti

After breakfast, depart for Central Serengeti, the heart of Serengeti National Park and one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. This region is famous for its year-round wildlife concentration and excellent predator sightings. As you travel through the endless plains, enjoy game viewing en route while observing the beauty of the Serengeti landscape.

Central Serengeti is home to large populations of lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, and numerous antelope species. The Seronera Valley, with its permanent water sources, attracts wildlife throughout the year and offers exceptional opportunities for close-up animal encounters.

Day 6

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival at the crater rim, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor is home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, flamingos, hippos, and the rare black rhinoceros. The unique ecosystem supports abundant wildlife within a relatively small area, making it one of the best safari destinations for game viewing.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool while taking in the breathtaking scenery of the crater floor. After lunch, continue your game drive through the grasslands, forests, and soda lakes before ascending the crater walls in the late afternoon. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park
