Arrive at the renowned Solio Conservancy, one of the most successful rhino breeding sanctuaries in Africa. After check-in and lunch at the lodge, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the open plains, famous for exceptional sightings of both black and white rhinos, alongside giraffes, zebras, buffalo & various antelope species. Begin the day with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Solio offers one of the highest concentrations of rhinos in Kenya, making it a paradise for wildlife photography and conservation enthusiasts. Return to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy some leisure time overlooking the dramatic landscapes and distant Mount Kenya backdrop. After lunch, head out for another game drive to explore different areas of the conservancy in search of lions, leopards, and abundant plains game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart Solio and drive towards the lush and forested Aberdare National Park. The landscape changes dramatically as you ascend into cool misty highlands filled with waterfalls, bamboo forests, and dense montane vegetation. Check in at your lodge or tree hotel and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, relax as wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, giant forest hogs and antelopes visit the nearby waterholes. The Aberdares offer a completely different safari experience focused on forest wildlife and tranquil mountain scenery. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Wake up to the fresh mountain air and enjoy a relaxed breakfast surrounded by the serene forest environment of Aberdare National Park. Depending on the lodge location, you may take a short nature walk or simply admire the beautiful highland scenery. After checking out, begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi through the fertile central highlands. En route, stop for a relaxing lunch before continuing the journey, arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon with wonderful memories of your northern highlands safari.
