Day 2

Transfer To murchison falls national park

Transfer To murchison falls national park

After breakfast, depart from the hotel and begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park. Whilst on the way, you will pass by the Zziwa rhino sanctuary where you will get to track the wild Rhinos on foot. Enjoy the scenic drive through the countryside, with opportunities to make brief stops along the way for refreshments and photography.

Continue to the park, arriving in the afternoon. Depending on your arrival time, you may proceed for a short game drive or visit the Top of the Falls to witness the Nile River squeezing through the narrow gorge before plunging downstream.

Later, proceed to your lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Murchison falls national park

Murchison falls national park

After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive across the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s premier wildlife destinations. Explore the savannah plains in search of elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kob, hartebeest and other wildlife. The early morning hours offer excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, look out for large herds of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and a variety of water birds. At the base of the falls, enjoy spectacular views as the Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge.

Day 4

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and as you depart Murchison Falls National Park, you will pass by the top of the falls for a new exciting adventure. This is the dramatic spot where the Nile River is forced through a very narrow gorge before plunging into Murchison falls. The Nile squeezes through a gorge only about 7 metres wide. After, you will set off for Queen Elizabeth, enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, passing through local communities, farmlands and rolling landscapes.

Proceed southwards towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, with a lunch stop en route. Continue the journey and arrive at the park in the afternoon. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short game drive as you make your way to the lodge.

Upon arrival, check in, relax and enjoy dinner before spending the night at your lodge.

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the Kasenyi Plains in search of wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kob, warthogs, antelopes and other savannah species. The early morning hours provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, enjoy a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its concentration of hippos and crocodiles. Keep an eye out for elephants and buffaloes along the shores, as well as numerous species of water birds. After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and depart Queen Elizabeth National Park for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Ruhija Sector. Enjoy a scenic drive through the rolling hills, lush tea plantations and beautiful countryside of southwestern Uganda.

The journey takes you towards the Ruhija sector, one of the main gorilla trekking areas of Bwindi. Along the way, enjoy the spectacular landscapes and local communities, with a lunch stop en route.

Upon arrival in Ruhija, check in at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the following day’s gorilla trekking experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Gorilla tracking experience & batwa community visit

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Trek through the ancient rainforest in search of one of the habituated mountain gorilla families. Once the gorillas are located, spend a memorable time observing their behavior, taking photographs and appreciating these remarkable primates in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community and experience their rich cultural heritage. Learn about their traditional way of life, forest knowledge, music, dance and cultural practices. Engage with the community and gain insight into the history and traditions of the Batwa people.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Proceed towards Lake Mburo with a lunch stop en route. Continue the journey to the park, and upon arrival, depending on your time, enjoy a short game drive as you make your way to the lodge.

Check in at the lodge, relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive through Lake Mburo National Park, exploring the savannah plains in search of zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, warthogs and other wildlife. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography.

After the game drive, return to the lodge, check out and begin your journey to Kampala. En route, make a memorable stop at the Equator at Kayabwe, where you will have the opportunity to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time. Enjoy time for photography, souvenir shopping and a brief exploration of the Equator monument. You may also witness a demonstration of the effects of the Equator on water drainage.

Continue with the journey to Kampala, arriving in the afternoon. Your driver/guide will drop you to the airport for departure, marking the end of your safari.
