Once arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. The drive offers a first snapshot of Tanzania’s landscapes, with views of local villages and, on clear days, Mount Meru rising in the distance. After check-in, the remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your international journey. You may enjoy the lodge’s tranquil environment, take a gentle walk within the property, or simply unwind while preparing for the safari ahead. Arusha is the heart of Tanzania’s northern safari circuit and serves as the perfect starting point for your adventure. Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive passing through rural landscapes, Maasai villages, and open plains. On arrival, begin a full-day game drive in a park renowned for its large herds of elephant and iconic baobab trees. The Tarangire River acts as a lifeline, attracting a wide range of wildlife including giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Predators such as lions and leopards may also be spotted, particularly around water sources. The park’s diverse habitats, from swamps to acacia woodlands, provide excellent photographic opportunities and a less crowded safari experience. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, exit the park in the late afternoon and drive to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands, where cooler temperatures and lush surroundings offer a relaxing end to the day.

Depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in one of Africa’s most unique wildlife habitats. The crater floor combines an incredible density of animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the endangered black rhino. The enclosed ecosystem allows Maximum game viewing within a relatively short time. After the crater experience, ascend the rim and continue your journey toward Serengeti National Park. The drive gradually reveals the vast Serengeti plains, where wildlife sightings begin even before reaching your camp. On the way, you may encounter herds of wildebeests and zebras, as well as predators roaming the savannah. After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti, one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the park. This region is well known for its year-round concentration of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and a variety of bird species. The open plains and scattered kopjes provide excellent opportunities to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards in their natural habitat.

After the game drive, depart the Serengeti and proceed towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with scenic views along the way. Continue your journey to Karatu in the highlands, where the climate is cooler and the landscape shifts to lush farmland. Arrival in the late afternoon allows time to relax and unwind after a full day of safari activities.

After a nice breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara Park, a compact yet diverse park located along the Great Rift Valley escarpment. On arrival, enjoy a half-day game drive through lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake, The park is famous for its tree - climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and diverse birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans along the lakeshore. You may also encounter elephants, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species within the park’s varied ecosystems.

Lake Manyara National Park offers a rich and scenic safari experience with excellent photographic opportunities. After the game drive, leave the park and begin your drive back journey to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon for your Departure or stay at Arusha.

This marks the end of your safari, leaving you with lasting memories of Tanzania’s remarkable wildlife and landscapes.
