Day 1

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most underrated wildlife destinations. The journey takes you through Maasai plains and rural Areas before entering a park famous for its ancient baobab trees and herds of Elephants. Upon arrival, enjoy an extensive game drive along the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeline, where large herds of elephants gather alongside giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and various antelope species. Predators such as lions and leopards are also present, often spotted near water sources. Birdlife is exceptional, with over 500 species recorded. After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park set against the dramatic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Upon entry, begin a full-day game drive through lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake itself.
