Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a guided city tour of Addis Ababa. Visit key historical and cultural landmarks including the National Museum (home to the famous fossil “Lucy”), Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Entoto Hills, which offer panoramic views of the capital.

Day 2
Fly to Arba Minch – Lake Chamo – Dorze Village

Take a morning flight from Addis Ababa to Arba Minch. Upon arrival, proceed to Lake Chamo for a scenic boat excursion to the renowned “Crocodile Market,” where you can observe large Nile crocodiles, hippos, and abundant birdlife.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Nechisar National Park, known for its open savannah, plains wildlife, and beautiful landscapes between Lake Chamo and Lake Abaya. During the drive, you may spot Burchell’s zebras, gazelles, and various bird species. Continue your journey to the Dorze village in the Guge Mountains. The Dorze people are known for their distinctive beehive-shaped bamboo houses and exceptional weaving skills. Enjoy cultural interactions and gain insight into their traditional lifestyle.

Day 3

After breakfast, begin a scenic drive of approximately 280 km (about 6 hours) to Turmi. En route, visit the Konso Cultural Landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its terraced hills and stone-walled settlements.
Continue to Turmi, home of the Hamer people, known for their elaborate hairstyles, colorful adornments, and rich cultural traditions.

Day 4
Turmi – Kara & Nyangatom Tribes

Today, explore the cultural diversity of the Omo Valley. Begin the day with a short game drive en route, offering excellent opportunities to observe beautiful birdlife, termite mounds, and the unique landscapes of the region.
Continue to visit the Kara (Karo) tribe along the banks of the Omo River, renowned for their intricate body painting and decorative scarification.
Proceed to meet the Nyangatom people, who maintain a semi-nomadic lifestyle and strong traditional identity. Later, revisit a Hamer village for deeper cultural interaction and excellent photography opportunities.

Day 5
Dasanech or Arbore – Key Afer Market – Jinka

After breakfast, visit either the Dasanech tribe near the Omo River or the Arbore tribe, depending on accessibility and local conditions. The Dasanech are semi-nomadic pastoralists and fishermen living near the Omo River and Lake Turkana, known for their resilience and distinctive body adornments. The Arbore are a smaller pastoral community recognized for their strong traditions, age-set system, and simple yet elegant cultural style, with women often wearing shaved hairstyles and beadwork.
Afterwards, drive approximately 120 km (about 3 hours) to Jinka, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. If your visit falls on a Thursday, stop at the lively Key Afer market, where different ethnic groups gather to trade and socialize.

In the early morning, depart for Mago National Park, enjoying a game drive en route through the park’s diverse landscapes. This area is home to a variety of wildlife including antelopes, Dik Dik, and numerous bird species. Continue to visit the Mursi tribe, famous for the women’s traditional clay lip plates and strong cultural identity. Experience authentic cultural interaction and learn about their unique way of life.
Later, transfer to Jinka Airport for your flight (ET 270 at 14:00) back to Addis Ababa. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Ethiopian restaurant with cultural music and dance performances.
Afterwards, transfer to the airport for your international departure.
