Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart early in the morning for the Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the few remaining places on Earth where wildlife continues to thrive in large, relatively undisturbed numbers, much like it once did across Africa’s plains and forests. As the northern extension of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famous for the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive.

Day 2
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy two full days of game drives with packed lunches provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions, abundant resident wildlife, and as one of the few places where the Big Five can often be spotted in a single morning. Cheetahs here are notably relaxed, sometimes resting in the shade of safari vehicles or even climbing onto the roof for a better view of prey. Bird enthusiasts will be equally impressed, with nearly 500 recorded species, including eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, bustards—such as the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird—and a variety of sunbirds.
