After breakfast at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, depart Amboseli and journey through Kenya's beautiful countryside towards the spectacular Great Rift Valley. Enjoy the changing scenery as you make your way to the tranquil shores of Lake Naivasha, arriving at Sawela Lodge in time for lunch before settling into your comfortable accommodation.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy a complimentary boat safari when you book with us, cruising across the peaceful waters of Lake Naivasha while spotting resident hippos and an incredible variety of birdlife, including the majestic African fish eagle. Alternatively, you may choose to enhance your experience with an optional guided nature walk (at an additional cost), where you can explore the surroundings on foot and encounter free-roaming giraffes, zebras and antelopes. Alternatively, enjoy breakfast at Keekorok Lodge before departing with packed lunches for a full-day game drive across the reserve's iconic landscapes.
Explore the Mara in search of the Big Five, including lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes and rhinos, alongside cheetahs, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest. During the Great Migration season, you may witness the dramatic Mara River crossings, one of Africa's greatest natural spectacles. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch before continuing your wildlife exploration.
Later in the evening, enjoy a complimentary Maasai village visit upon booking with us, where you will experience traditional dances, cultural heritage and the unique way of life of the Maasai community. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
