Your safari begins with an early-morning departure from Nairobi as you journey through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a viewpoint to admire the spectacular escarpment and capture memorable photos. Continue south towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in.

After a short period of relaxation, set out on an exciting afternoon game drive across the reserve's vast rolling plains in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a wide variety of other wildlife. As the golden African sunset paints the savannah, return to your lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, preparing for another unforgettable day of safari adventures.

Full-Day Safari in the Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, you may choose to begin your day with an optional Hot Air Balloon Safari (at an additional cost), offering breathtaking sunrise views over the Maasai Mara, followed by a memorable champagne bush breakfast. Alternatively, depart with your guide and packed picnic lunches for a full-day game drive across the reserve's iconic landscapes in search of the Big Five, alongside cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and an abundance of wildlife. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve before continuing your safari adventure.

During the Great Migration season, you may witness the spectacular Mara River crossings. Later in the evening, enjoy a complimentary Maasai village visit upon booking with us, where you'll experience traditional dances, rich cultural heritage and the unique way of life of the Maasai community before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Following lunch, set out on an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its thriving populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, and an impressive variety of birdlife, including flamingos when lake conditions are favourable.

Explore the park's diverse landscapes, from acacia woodlands and rocky escarpments to the shores of the alkaline lake, while keeping an eye out for its abundant wildlife. After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your journey back to Nairobi. En route, stop at the picturesque Lake Naivasha, where, as a complimentary experience when you book with us, you'll enjoy a scenic boat safari across the tranquil freshwater lake. Glide past resident hippos and an incredible variety of birdlife, including the majestic African fish eagle, while taking in the lake's peaceful beauty. Alternatively, you may choose to enhance your experience with an optional guided nature walk (at an additional cost), offering the unique opportunity to walk among free-roaming giraffes, zebras and antelopes in their natural habitat.

Continue your journey through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, arriving in Nairobi in the afternoon. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenyan safari experience.
