Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning pickup in Nairobi, followed by a scenic journey through the Great Rift Valley toward the Maasai Mara. Along the way, enjoy brief stops at selected viewpoints, offering spectacular views of the Rift Valley and the surrounding countryside.

Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Check-in relax and enjoy the camp’s surroundings. Later in the afternoon, set out on your first game drive across the vast plains of the Maasai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves.

After breakfast, depart with packed lunches for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara, allowing you to maximize your time in the reserve without returning to the lodge. After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and journey toward Lake Nakuru National Park, traveling through the scenic Kenya’s picturesque highland landscapes. The drive is comfortably paced, with opportunities to appreciate the changing scenery before arriving at your lodge in time for lunch and check-in.

In the afternoon, head into Lake Nakuru National Park for a rewarding game drive. The park is renowned for its thriving populations of black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and diverse birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans when conditions are favorable. Its varied habitats of acacia woodland, grassland, and lakeshore create excellent wildlife viewing opportunities within a relatively compact area.
