Pick Up and Transfer to Semuliki NP
You will be picked up by your driver-guide and transferred to Semuliki National Park, checking in at Semuliki Safari Lodge. This park, located on the Albertine Rift Valley floor beyond the Rwenzori Mountains, is a biodiversity hotspot representing the easternmost extension of the Congo Basin jungles.
It is home to:
Unique Mammals: 53 species, including 11 primates like the Dent’s mona monkey and Central African red colobus.
Rare Wildlife: The forest buffalo and water chevrotain, which are found nowhere else in East Africa.
Prolific Birdlife: Over 435 species, comprising 43% of Uganda’s total, including Congo-Guinea biome species and Rift Valley endemics.
Geological Wonders: Ancient Sempaya hot springs that demonstrate the subterranean forces shaping the Rift Valley for 14 million years.

Following breakfast in the morning, you will be picked up by our driver guide to Semuliki national park for a nature walk and later on an experience with the sempaya hot springs.
Nature walk
The park offers the most tremendous guided nature walk where you will be able to spot beautiful sceneries within the park, some of the primates like the olive baboons, the endangered Brazza’s monkey using the primate trail, kirumai trail or the sempaya nature trail which will give you an amazing experience.
Hotsprings experience
The male and female sempaya hot springs are semuliki’s most famous attraction located about 30 minutes’ walk from the main road into the forest tracks of the national park. The springs are breath taking and thrilling to see steamy hot water boiling, bubbling ang jetting from the ground at about 103 degrees Celsius.

Day 3
Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast very early in the morning, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth national for a game drive and a boat cruise in the evening. You will check in at Elephant Hab Lodgefor an overnight stay.
Morning game drives in queen Elizabeth national park can be so thrilling and heartwarming as you get a chance to spot the big 5 in the kasenyi sector of the park. The open grasslands of kasenyi provide the primary game viewing area where you will see the exhaling tree climbing lions as they spend their days resting up in the branches of the shady fig trees plus other animals like the buffaloes, hippos, elephants, Topis, herds of Uganda Kobs and many more and return to your hotel for lunch and refreshments.

Day 4
Salt Mining At Lake Katwe and Departure
Salt Mining At Lake Katwe and Departure
Following breakfast in the morning, you will be picked up by our driver-guide and head to Lake Katwe, the salty lake. Lake Katwe is a customary lake on which salt mining is done. The adjacent local community of Katwe, 12km from Mweya, has been extracting salt from the saline Lake Katwe using evaporation pans. With this activity, local guides will escort you down into the crater to see the process. The adjacent Lake Munyange is rich in water birds, including the migrating flamingo, which can be spotted between August and November. You will then go back to the lodge for lunch, check out, and be transferred back to Entebbe.
