Day 1
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
Start the day with a morning drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the few remaining places on Earth where wildlife still thrives in large, relatively undisturbed numbers, much as it once did across Africa’s vast plains and forests. As the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is famous for the dramatic seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebras, closely followed by predators such as lions and hyenas. You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore the rich wildlife and scenic landscapes of the reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a campsite or lodge.

Day 2
Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve with a picnic lunch provided. The reserve is renowned for its black-maned lions and abundant wildlife, offering one of the best chances to see the Big Five in a single morning drive. Cheetahs here are often remarkably relaxed, sometimes seeking shade beneath safari vehicles, with a few even climbing onto roofs for a better vantage point when tracking prey. For bird enthusiasts, nearly 500 species have been recorded in the Mara. These include 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four species of bustards—including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird—and nine species of sunbirds.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a campsite or lodge.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
As you crest the hillside, the vast plains of Serengeti National Park stretch endlessly before you. “Serengeti” means “endless plains” in Kiswahili, and this remarkable 6,900 square mile (18,000 sq. km) park is home to more than two million large animals, including over a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles. The park also supports a rich predator population, including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas, all drawn by the abundance of migrating prey. Smaller wildlife such as rock hyrax, bat-eared foxes, mongooses, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, and African hares are also commonly seen. Birdlife is equally impressive, with nearly 500 recorded species. Enjoy an afternoon game drive en route to your campsite. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a public campsite or a private tented camp/lodge.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Serengeti - Ngorongoro
Wake up early for a pre-breakfast safari, when wildlife is most active and the African savannah comes alive under a breathtaking sunrise—one of the most unforgettable sights on the continent. After the game drive, return to camp for brunch.
In the afternoon, transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often referred to as the “eighth natural wonder of the world.” The Ngorongoro Crater, with its towering 2,000-foot walls and expansive 102-square-mile floor, forms a natural enclosure often described as a “Noah’s Ark.” It is home to an extraordinary density of wildlife, including almost every species found in East Africa, such as the rare black rhino. The crater also supports large elephant bulls, some with impressive tusks, believed to be enhanced by the mineral-rich volcanic soils and vegetation.
