Start your day early and be among the first inside Zambezi National Park, when wildlife is most active. Be first in the park and enjoy the best chances to spot animals before the heat of the day.

In winter, enjoy sunrise along the Zambezi River with tea or coffee as wildlife gathers at the water. In summer, watch sunrise around 5:45 AM near the iconic baobab tree near Victoria Falls. Either way, you avoid crowds and maximize sightings.

Travel in a small group in an open 4x4 vehicle with a licensed local guide, following quieter tracks through riverine forest and savannah. Expect elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, antelope, birdlife, and possible predator sightings.

Along the river, spot hippos and crocodiles.
