1-Day Amboseli Safari from Nairobi

Depart Nairobi early morning traversing the scenic Athi Plains with opportunity to capture a sunrise moment on a clear sky setting the tone for a full-day safari in Amboseli National Park. Make a stop en-route for optional breakfast, refreshments, quick bites and craft shopping before proceeding to the park.

Maasai homesteads offering a preview of local customs with Mount Kilimanjaro rising dramatically in the distance to welcome you to Amboseli and begin a game drive across vast plains and hippo filled swamps. Look out for the famous elephant herds that dominate the landscape and encounter predators resting or feasting after a night of hunting activity

Break for optional lunch at a Lodge or enjoy a picnic at Observation Hill with sweeping views of wildlife below then continue game viewing across bird filled swamps that include flamingos with final en-route sightings as you exit the park before returning to Nairobi by evening. A visit to a nearby Maasai village visit can be included.
