Your safari begins with pickup from your hotel or Kigali International Airport. Meet your professional driver-guide and set off for Akagera National Park, enjoying scenic views of Rwanda’s rolling hills along the way. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and have lunch before heading out for an afternoon boat safari on Lake Ihema. This peaceful cruise offers close encounters with hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species. The calm waters and surrounding landscapes provide excellent photography opportunities. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Wake up early for a morning game drive in Akagera National Park, the best time to spot wildlife when animals are most active. Explore the park’s savannah plains and woodland areas in search of elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and with luck, predators such as lions and leopards. The sunrise over the park adds to the beauty of the experience. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Kigali, arriving in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
