Spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The additional time allows your guide to explore different areas of the reserve while responding to wildlife movements. Continue searching for the Big Five throughout the day while encountering large herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, buffalo, and other plains game. Day 3

After breakfast, leave the Masai Mara and travel toward Lake Nakuru through the beautiful Great Rift Valley. The landscape gradually changes from open savannah to greener highlands, rolling farmland, and dramatic escarpments. The journey provides an opportunity to appreciate rural Kenya while transitioning into a completely different wildlife environment.

Upon reaching Lake Nakuru National Park, explore the lake and surrounding habitats in search of rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and predators. Leave Lake Nakuru and continue through the Great Rift Valley toward the peaceful shores of Lake Naivasha. The relatively short journey provides more time to enjoy the surrounding scenery and transition from traditional game viewing to a quieter freshwater experience. The area is known for its lush surroundings, abundant birdlife, and resident hippos.

Once at the lake, choose from optional experiences designed to complement the safari. A boat excursion provides an opportunity to view hippos and waterbirds from the water, while a guided walking experience on Crescent Island can bring you closer to giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other herbivores. As you approach the park, the possibility of seeing Mount Kilimanjaro creates an exciting transition into the final wildlife chapter of your safari.

Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive through Amboseli's varied habitats. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds, but you may also encounter buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, antelope, hippos, and numerous bird species.
