Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning Nairobi air transfer to Arusha and pick-up at Arusha Airport, where you will be warmly welcomed by your Bavuma Wild Quest driver-guide and the team. You will then proceed to Arusha National Park, a scenic park known for Mount Meru views, lush forests, volcanic craters, and the beautiful Momella Lakes.

Enjoy a game drive where you may see giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, flamingos, warthogs, and colobus monkeys in their natural habitat. The park offers a blend of forest, lake, and open savannah, ideal for a relaxed safari away from crowds.

A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, followed by more game viewing or an optional walking safari for a closer nature experience.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for a full-day cultural and nature experience at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Today combines local culture, hiking, waterfalls, and natural hot springs.

Your first visit is Materuni Waterfalls, located in a lush Chagga village. You will walk through coffee farms, banana plantations, and forest trails while learning about the traditional lifestyle of the Chagga people. You may also participate in a traditional coffee-making experience from bean to cup.

Continue your walk to the impressive waterfall, where fresh mountain water cascades into a natural pool surrounded by green vegetation. This peaceful environment is perfect for relaxation and photography.

In the afternoon, continue to Chemka Hot Springs, a hidden natural oasis with crystal-clear turquoise water. Here you can swim, float, and relax under the shade of fig trees in a truly unique natural setting.
Return to Arusha in the late afternoon.

Day 3

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich parks, famous for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse landscapes.

Enjoy a game drive across savannahs, river valleys, and seasonal wetlands. Tarangire is well known for its elephants, often seen in large family groups around the Tarangire River.

The park offers great wildlife viewing year-round, including lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the dry season, animals gather near water sources, while in the green season the park is lush with birds and newborn wildlife, creating excellent photography opportunities.

Formed by a massive volcanic eruption over 2 million years ago, the crater spans 260 sq km, creating a spectacular wildlife sanctuary. Along the way, enjoy 3 hours of wildlife viewing, spotting giraffes, zebras, elephants, and other fascinating species.

Inside the crater, explore its incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, wildebeests, and the endangered black rhino. Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha & Departure

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

Start your safari in a lush groundwater forest where elephants, baboons, blue monkeys, and other primates are commonly seen. Continue through varied habitats of acacia woodlands and open plains toward the lake shores, where hippos rest and large flocks of birds gather, including flamingos depending on the season.

Lake Manyara is also famous for its rare tree-climbing lions, which your guide will search for during the game drive.

After lunch, enjoy a final game drive in Lake Manyara, taking in its forests, lake shores, and rich wildlife.
