Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up in Moshi and transferred to Tarangire National Park to begin your game drive in this remarkable wilderness. The park is renowned for its iconic baobab trees, diverse birdlife, and impressive populations of large mammals, including one of the highest concentrations of elephants in Tanzania. After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you will proceed to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

You will depart the camp early in the morning (around 6:00 AM) and drive to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for your final game drive. As the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa, it offers an extraordinary wildlife experience.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is home to a remarkable concentration of wildlife, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. It is also renowned for its high density of predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. Around the water sources, you may spot flamingos, hippos, and a variety of other bird species.

After your morning game drive, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin your transfer back to Moshi, marking the end of your safari.
