Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a scenic 2–3 hour drive away. En route, you will enjoy a game drive through the beautiful Kenyan countryside, where you may spot wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and antelopes along the way.

Upon arrival, you check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you may unwind at the lodge or opt for a short game drive within the park before returning later for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge, you depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is approximately 4-5 hours’ drive. En route, you will stop at Narok Town for a short break and refreshments. Continue the journey, enjoying the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. You will arrive at Zebra Plains Mara Camp in the early afternoon. You will check in, have lunch, and rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. You return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, you depart for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. You will spend the day spotting lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo, exploring the vast Mara plains. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. You return to Zebra Plains Mara Camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
