Exploring the Masai Mara plains

Spend a full day exploring the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa's richest wildlife destinations. After an early breakfast, set out for a morning game drive when predators are most active and the Savannah is alive with movement. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo and with a bit of luck the elusive leopard.

You'll have the option to carry a packed picnic lunch to enjoy within the reserve, allowing for extended game viewing returning to camp. Continue with afternoon game drives across the rolling plains, possibly heading toward the Mara River, famous for dramatic wildlife crossings during migration season.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast depart the Masai Mara National Reserve and journey toward Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes along the way, check in at your lodge in the afternoon then later on head out for an afternoon game drive in the park, famous for it's bird life. Look out for flocks of flamingos along the lake shore, as well as rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras and buffalo. Making for an exciting and varied safari experience.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru National park and enjoy a scenic drive heading to Lake Naivasha. Arrive in time for check-in at your resort, followed by relaxation in the serene lakeside setting.

Later, head out for a boat ride on the lake, gliding past pods of hippos and a variety of bird life including fish eagles and kingfishers. You may also opt for a guided walking or cycling safari at Hell's Gate National Park, one of the few parks in Kenya where you can explore on foot or by bike among zebras, giraffes and gazelles.

After an early breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and journey toward Amboseli National Park, watching the landscapes shift from lush lakeside greenery to wide, open plains. Enjoy a scenic drive before arriving in Amboseli in the afternoon.

Famous for it's large-tusked elephants, some of the biggest in Africa, Amboseli offers rare, close up encounters with these gentle giants. The park is also known for it's iconic views of Mount Kilimajaro, Africa's highest peak, rising dramatically just across the border in Tanzania.

After check in, you may head out for an evening game drive, where elephants, lions and vast herds of plains game roam against the dusty, photogenic backdrop. Rising early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit with packed lunch provided, an optional visit to a Masai village can be planned after breakfast.
