You'll be picked up from either your hotel or airport and ready for a 9-hour drive to Kibale Forest National Park. You will have lunch along the way. On arrival, late dinner will be served at the lodge, with its scenic view of the forest, of Kibale National Park.

Day 2
Chimps Habituation and Bigodi Swamp Walk
Chimps Habituation and Bigodi Swamp Walk
You'll have an early morning breakfast before departing to the park headquarters where you will be given a safety and tracking briefing. You will then be taken by vehicle to a starting point, to commence your chimpanzee habituation with researchers and rangers for 4 hours in the forest. After this phenomenal wildlife experience, you will return to your vehicle on the edge of the forest. You'll take an afternoon swamp walk in the Bigodi Swamp sanctuary to see some birds and other primates.

Day 3
Transfer to Bwindi through Kazinga channel for Boat cruise
Transfer to Bwindi through Kazinga channel for Boat cruise
You'll have an early breakfast before departing for Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and watch out for the eye-catching big game on the way like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs, and other wildlife. You will have a stop at Kazinga channel for a boat cruise. Later you will set off to Bwindi for the next day ultimate gorilla experience. Check in the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for briefing by park ranger guides, and depart with picnic lunch boxes to start gorilla trekking. The activity can last up to 4 hours or more to find the mountain gorillas as you hike up and down the slopes with dense mist-covered vegetation. Hence you will have a packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought-after creatures-the mountain gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. You will later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation along the shores of the lake. Have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Morning Boat ride and Transfer to Entebbe
Morning Boat ride and Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you'll check out and go for the boat ride along lake Bunyonyi and explore its rich history. After return and start on the long drive back to Entebbe/Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain apes. You'll have lunch en route with a stopover at the equator line for experimentation. You will arrive late in the evening to be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport at approximately 6 pm to check in for your air transfer back home. Say farewell to the Pearl of Africa.
