On the morning of this day, you will meet our company representative, who will be your private driver-guide on this safari. Have a short briefing about your safari and set off for Musanze, where you will arrive in about 2.5 hours. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will check in and have your luggage transferred to your rooms. Thereafter, proceed to the Gorilla Guardians village for a cultural experience that offers an insight into Rwanda’s culture, including cultural dance & drama and the traditional wedding ceremony. Thereafter, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Gorilla trekking and return to Kigali
This is the trekking day, and it will start with an early morning breakfast at the lodge, followed by a short transfer to the Volcanoes National Park offices. Enjoy the serenity of the environment here as you wait for the allocation of a gorilla family and trekking guidelines. After the briefing, you will set off to the trailheads for the great adventure. The encounter with the gorillas is a remarkable experience of watching them go about their daily life routine, including feeding, taking care of each other, playing, and chilling.
The trek can last for about 2 hours or more, depending on the location of the gorilla family that was allocated. From here, you will return to the lodge, have lunch, and drive back to Kigali where you will be dropped off at the airport to connect back home or proceed to your next destination.
