Day 1 begins with a morning departure from Nairobi as you drive towards Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way. You arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, you head out for your first game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Explore the open plains in search of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, soaking in the sounds of the wild.

Amboseli to Tsavo East

Tsavo East is known for its vast open landscapes, red-dusted elephants, and rich wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and diverse bird species. Explore the park’s iconic scenery such as the Yatta Plateau and Galana River as you enjoy your first experience of this wild terrain. As evening approaches, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
