Zanzibar to the Heart of the Serengeti

Start with a hotel pickup in Zanzibar, then fly to Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti National Park. Our safari driver will be waiting to welcome you, and a picnic lunch will be ready for your wildlife viewing tour. After lunch, continue with a game drive to spot the big cats of Serengeti and other ungulates. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive, hoping to see zebras, Grant's and Thompson's gazelles, topis, Coke's hartebeest, common elands, and other wild animals. You'll retire for the night. Witness the beauty of thousands of wildebeest and zebra herds feeding in the endless plains or crossing the Mara River. Observe wild creatures (birds, animals, reptiles, etc.) roaming the acacia-dominated savannah woodland and savannah grassland. In the evening, you'll be driven back to your pre-arranged camp or lodge for dinner.

Ngorongoro Crater

Non-wildlife viewing time: 3 – 4 hours. After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big draw to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds can usually be seen here. In the late afternoon, transfer to Mto Wa Mbu for an overnight stay.

Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
