Your safari ignites at dawn. Drive southwest through lush highlands, past red-cloaked Maasai warriors, then descend into the Great Rift Valley volcanoes, lakes, endless sky. The tarmac ends. You bounce along a red-dust road into the Mara. Arrive for lunch at your midrange camp, then afternoon game drive. A lioness stalks golden grass. Elephants flap their ears. Giraffes slice the horizon. Zebras blanket hillsides. If lucky, witness the Great Migration—thousands of wildebeest braving crocodile-infested waters. Sunset paints the sky blood orange. Dinner under stars. A hyena whoops in the distance. You sleep to the wild's symphony.
