Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pickup from your Nairobi hotel, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide, who will accompany you throughout your journey. After a brief safari orientation, depart Nairobi and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with stops at breathtaking viewpoints and opportunities to observe everyday rural life.

Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by some time to relax and enjoy the surroundings. In the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in the park, famous for its rhino sanctuary, rich birdlife, and regular sightings of lions, giraffes, buffalo, and other wildlife. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

The Great Migration in Kenya's Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari camp, ideally set near the Mara River and close to key migration areas. After settling in and taking in the stunning surroundings, head out on an afternoon game drive to begin exploring the vast plains and searching for the iconic herds of wildebeest and zebra.

The next two days are dedicated to immersive game drives across the Masai Mara, offering exceptional opportunities to witness dramatic river crossings, predator interactions, and the sheer scale of the Great Migration. Beyond the migration, you may encounter lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, giraffes, and many other species, all set against the reserve’s breathtaking and diverse landscapes.

Masai Mara -Nairobi

After breakfast, take in your final views of the Masai Mara’s sweeping plains before beginning your return journey to Nairobi. The scenic drive offers a last opportunity to enjoy the countryside and reflect on the remarkable wildlife encounters and experiences from your safari.

You will arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight, or to your hotel if you are extending your stay. Your safari ends with lasting memories of one of the world’s most extraordinary wildlife experiences.
