Nairobi-Masai Mara National Reserve

You will begin with an early morning drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, where you will check in at your accommodation and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, set out on a game drive across the reserve, home to elephants, wildebeests, zebras, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and more. At Saruni Mara, activities include morning and afternoon game drives, optional night drives to spot nocturnal wildlife, black rhino tracking, guided bush walks, horse riding, cultural visits to Maasai villages, and an optional hot air balloon safari over the plains with a bush breakfast (extra cost). Dinner and overnight stay will be at camp.

These times offer the best wildlife viewing as animals are most active, especially the big cats, and the soft light creates excellent photography conditions. With an early start to beat the heat, you may witness lions on the move, playful cubs interacting within the pride, and other dramatic wildlife encounters.
