At Saruni Mara, activities include morning and afternoon game drives, optional night drives to spot nocturnal wildlife, black rhino tracking, guided bush walks, horse riding, cultural visits to Maasai villages, and an optional hot air balloon safari over the plains with a bush breakfast (extra cost). You will enjoy two game drives today in the Maasai Mara National Reserve—one early in the morning before breakfast and another in the late afternoon. These times offer the best wildlife viewing as animals are most active, especially the big cats, and the soft light creates excellent photography conditions. With an early start to beat the heat, you may witness lions on the move, playful cubs interacting within the pride, and other dramatic wildlife encounters. The reserve is also world-famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Explore viewpoints offering excellent photo opportunities and discover its rich biodiversity, including greater and lesser flamingos, white rhinos, buffaloes, and nearly 450 bird species, along with about 56 mammal species. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You will also visit Crescent Island, a peaceful wildlife sanctuary ideal for photography, where giraffes, zebras, impalas, and hippos roam freely. In the afternoon, you will set out for a game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes, which include dry lake beds, fragile grasslands, acacia woodlands, and volcanic hills. Around the swamps of Ol Tukai and Enkongo Narok, lush vegetation attracts abundant wildlife. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is also home to over 600 bird species and the seasonal Lake Amboseli. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You’ll have an early breakfast, then check out with a game drive en route as you head to Standard Gauge Railway (Madaraka Express) at Emali Station. Please adhere to timing as the train arrives at 9:27 am and departs at 9:31 am for Mombasa, arriving around 2:00 pm. Your first-class ticket is included, offering a comfortable, air-conditioned journey with elevated views of Amboseli landscapes through large panoramic windows. On arrival, a representative will transfer you to your beach resort, where you can check in, freshen up, and relax by the pool while enjoying views of the ocean and palm-lined surroundings.

Spend your days relaxing on the white sands of Diani Beach at leisure, with optional water sports available. Known for its long stretch of pristine shoreline bordered by lush coastal forest, Diani offers a peaceful yet vibrant atmosphere with plenty of activities to enjoy. You may try camel rides on the beach, or engage in kitesurfing, jet skiing, and snorkeling at an extra cost. Optional excursions include a boat trip to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine National Park to spot dolphins and marine life, a visit to Shimba Hills National Reserve, exploring Fort Jesus, or shopping for crafts at Akamba Handicrafts Cooperative and visiting local art galleries.
