Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred for a short morning city tour. Visit highlights such as the National Museum of Ethiopia, where you can see the famous fossil Lucy, and enjoy a brief overview of the capital.
Later, transfer to the airport for your midday flight to Jinka. Upon arrival, meet your local team and begin the scenic drive through the Omo Valley to Turmi, home of the Hamer people.
Arrive in Turmi and check in at Paradise Lodge Turmi.

Omo Valley Tribal Experience – Karo, Nyangatom & Hamer
Today, explore the cultural diversity of the Omo Valley. Begin the day with a short game drive en route, offering excellent opportunities to observe beautiful birdlife, termite mounds, and the unique landscapes of the region.
Continue to visit the Kara (Karo) tribe along the banks of the Omo River, renowned for their intricate body painting and decorative scarification.
Proceed to meet the Nyangatom people, who maintain a semi-nomadic lifestyle and strong traditional identity. Later, revisit a Hamer village for deeper cultural interaction and excellent photography opportunities.

Day 3
Visit Dassanech Tribe – Fly back to Addis Ababa
Visit Dassanech Tribe – Fly back to Addis Ababa
Early in the morning, drive toward the lower Omo Valley to visit the Dassanech Tribe. The Dassanech are semi-nomadic pastoralists and fishermen living near the Omo River and Lake Turkana, known for their resilience and distinctive body adornments. The Arbore are a smaller pastoral community recognized for their strong traditions, age-set system, and simple yet elegant cultural style, with women often wearing shaved hairstyles and beadwork.
Afterwards, drive approximately 120 km (about 3 hours) to Jinka, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. If your visit falls on a Thursday, stop at the lively Key Afer market, where different ethnic groups gather to trade and socialize.
After the visit, transfer back via Jinka for your return flight to Addis Ababa.
Upon arrival, enjoy optional city sightseeing or relax before a special farewell dinner in the evening. Later, transfer to the airport for your international departure.
