Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival, a warm and welcoming Mamnana Adventures representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on when you arrive, you’ll have time to relax and prepare for the amazing journey ahead.

Arusha is a lively city and the gateway to northern Tanzania’s iconic safari destinations, making it an ideal starting point for most travellers. It’s the perfect place to begin your unforgettable adventure!

Day 2

After breakfast, your Mamnana Adventures Safari guide will pick up you from your Lodge and you’ll set off for Tarangire National Park a scenic drive of about two and a half hours on well-maintained tarmac roads. The park takes its name from the Tarangire River, the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season. Famous for its impressive elephant populations, Tarangire offers excellent opportunities to observe these giants gathering along the riverbanks. You may also spot giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, and if you’re lucky predators like lions and leopards roaming nearby.

Tarangire National Park boasts one of the highest concentrations of bird species in the world and is dotted with massive, ancient baobab trees, some estimated to be over a thousand years old. You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated picnic areas.

Following your game drive, you will continue on to your Lodge in Karatu.

Day 3

Transfer from Karatu to Ndutu Area for Guided Game- Over night stay at Central Serengeti

Transfer from Karatu to Ndutu Area for Guided Game- Over night stay at Central Serengeti

After an early morning wake-up at your lodge in Karatu, you will enjoy breakfast before departing for the Ndutu area in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem.

Upon arrival, you will begin a guided game drive across the Ndutu plains, where, from December to April, large herds of wildebeest gather for the calving season, attracting numerous predators. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush while taking in the surrounding wildlife and scenery.

After lunch, you will continue with a game drive en route towards Central Serengeti, experiencing more wildlife sightings along the way. In the evening, you will arrive at your camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will enjoy a guided game drive in Central Serengeti, renowned for its vast plains and exceptional year-round wildlife concentration. This area offers excellent opportunities to spot big cats such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, alongside large herds of herbivores.
Optional: You may also have a hot air balloon safari early in the morning over the Serengeti plains, (at extra cost), before joining the game drive.

Later, you will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by the stunning Serengeti landscape. After lunch, you will continue with a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying more wildlife sightings along the way.
Upon arrival in Ngorongoro, you will have a short evening game drive before proceeding to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and an overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, you will descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a guided game drive. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations. Its collapsed volcanic caldera hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino, all within a stunning natural setting.

You will enjoy game viewing across the crater floor, taking in its diverse ecosystems of grasslands, forests, and lakes. A picnic lunch will be served inside the crater.

In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and begin your journey to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable safari experience.
