After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to the beautifully preserved cave church of Yimrehane Kiristos. Built in the Aksumite architectural style with alternating layers of wood and stone, this sacred site is located inside a natural cave and surrounded by juniper forest, offering a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

Return to Lalibela for a full exploration of the second group of rock-hewn churches, considered the most iconic section of the complex.
