Excursion to Yimrehane Kiristos Church & churches of Lalibela

After breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to the beautifully preserved cave church of Yimrehane Kiristos. Built in the Aksumite architectural style with alternating layers of wood and stone, this sacred site is located inside a natural cave and surrounded by juniper forest, offering a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.

Return to Lalibela for a full exploration of the second group of rock-hewn churches, considered the most iconic section of the complex.

Visit Nakuto Laab Monastery – Return to Addis Ababa

In the morning, visit the peaceful cave monastery of Nakuto Laab, a site believed to have been established by King Nakuto Laab. The monastery houses ancient manuscripts, sacred relics, and natural water pools considered holy by local believers.

After the visit, transfer to Lalibela Airport for your return flight to Addis Ababa.
