Zanzibar - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

The journey begins before dawn on Zanzibar Island with an airport transfer timed for the earliest available flight to the Arusha region, enabling you to arrive in the morning and transfer swiftly to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive.

Expect a mix of open-country viewing and shaded riverine habitats, with guides searching for elephant herds that often gather near seasonal pans, as well as prides of lions and smaller wildlife such as mongoose and diverse bird species. Lunch will be arranged either as a scenic picnic inside the park or at a nearby lodge to maximize afternoon game viewing.

Late in the day, you will exit Tarangire and proceed to your selected accommodations for your overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha - Zanzibar

Day two begins very early with breakfast and a drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where permits and park formalities are completed at the rim before descending into the crater.

The morning and early afternoon are dedicated to a game drive on the crater floor with focused wildlife viewing, a picnic at a designated site, and time set aside for photography and short guided walks (where permitted). This is followed by an ascent from the crater rim in the mid to late afternoon and a direct transfer to Arusha or the regional airport for a late flight back to Zanzibar.
